
Ana has a degree in Croatian language and literature and Philosophy, and a doctorate in Film studies from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. She holds the position of lecturer in the scientific branch of Filmology at the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb. She teaches Croatian Language and Film at the 13th High School in Zagreb. She is an external associate of the Academy of Dramatic Art, University of Zagreb. Since 2012, along with assoc. prof. Jelena Modrić, she has been teaching at the “Dr. Ante Peterlić” School of Media Culture, and in 2013 they founded the Film EDUcation program of the Croatian Film Association. That year she also became a member of the selection committee of the Youth Film Festival and the Four River Film Festival, and has worked as a member of selection committees or juries of other youth film festivals, including the State Committee of the Croatian School Film Festival. She holds film methodology workshops for teachers in Croatia and abroad. She is an external associate of the Croatian Film Association’s educational and festival programs, as well as the Croatian Audiovisual Center’s film literacy projects. She is the author of the book “Film in school: Establishing a model of film education in secondary schools” (Croatian Film Association, 2021). She was published in the Croatian Cinema Chronicles and other CFA publications, and lectured at international scientific conferences, as well as at professional conferences throughout Croatia. She is the co-author of the “Analysis of condition, Financial system mapping and the Action Plan for the development of film education and promotion of film literacy 2023-2026” (HAVC, 2023). She is the four-time recipient of the award of the Ministry of Science and Education as one of Croatia’s most successful educational workers. She is a member of the Croatian Society of Film Critics. From March 2023, she holds the position of President of the Croatian Film Association.

Boško is a political scientist and film critic, studied at the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb. He is the winner of the University of Zagreb Rector’s Award. After earning his degree, he went on to obtain a Master’s degree in International Relations and a Doctoral degree in Comparative Politics at his alma mater. He works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science. He has authored a number of scientific and professional papers. As a student he began contributing to the “Hollywood” film magazine. His reviews have also been published in “Vijenac”, “Total Film”, “Globus”, as well as the “Croatian Film Chronicles” and the tportal.hr website. He is the co-author of “Café cinéma,” a Croatian Television program about film, and a similar program aimed at children called “Kokice”. As a film critic, he collaborates with Croatian Television (the shows “Kod nas doma” and “Art”, live broadcasts of the Oscar, Emmy and EFA awards) and Croatian Radio (“Licem u lice”). He hosts a television show about animated film called “Animatik”. He has directed a music video for the song “Daleko” by the Croatian band Batida, which was nominated for the “Zlatna Koogla” independent music award. He has been a member of various selection committees and award juries at different Croatian film festivals, and as the editor of festival publications he has worked at Zagreb’s Animafest and One Take Film Festival and Pula Film Festival. At the 26th Animafest – World Festival of Animated Film in Zagreb in 2016, he was a member of the jury of the Grand Feature Film Competition. He is a member of the Artistic Council of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, serving as the artistic advisor for co-productions with a minority Croatian share, as well as the Croatian Journalists’ Association, International Political Science Association (IPSA), Western Political Science Association (WPSA), Croatian Society of Film Critics and the National Debate Championships Committee.

Dražen grew up and attended primary school and high school in Zagreb. After graduating from the mechanical engineering high school, from 1989 to 1992 he worked at the animation film studio “Zagreb Film”, and, first as a phaser, then as an animator, participated in the realization of a dozen animated film projects. In 1992, he enrolled in the study of Film and TV directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb, where he graduated. Since 1993, he has been working as a freelance artist, and has completed a number of feature and documentary projects as a screenwriter and director. He has directed over two hundred episodes of various TV series. He is a member of the Filmmakers Association of Croatia and the Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association. He also worked as an assistant director on a feature film. He has directed six feature-length fiction films: “Ajmo žuti! / Go, Yellow!”, “Trešeta / Tressette”, “Zagonetni dječak / Mysterious Boy”, “Alka”, “Moj dida je pao s Marsa / My Grandpa Is an Alien” and “Šalša / Summer Teeth”. As a member of a group of authors, he won the Croatian National Film Award “Oktavijan” for the short animated film “Čakaj me / Wait for Me” (1993), “Oktavijan” for the short fiction film “Samopotjera / Hunt for Oneself” (1994), “Oktavijan” for the medium-length fiction film “Novogodišnja pljačka / New Year’s Eve Robbery” (1998), and “Oktavijan” for the short documentary film “Šalter / Counter” (2001), for which he also received the “Golden Olive” at the TV Festival in Bar, where a year later he won the “Silver Olive” in the feature-length TV film category for “Ajmo žuti! / Go, Yellow!”. He won the award for best editor for the short documentary film “Od jutra do mraka / From Dawn till Dusk” at the Croatian Film Days in 2005.
